Diagnosing and addressing India's post-2011 growth slowdown

India's GDP has crashed in 2020 due to the pandemic - but it was showing a decline even before that. Private investment surged in India from 2003 to 2012, and has declined thereafter. In 2020 rupees, the stock of under implementation private projects has dropped from Rs.83 trillion in 2012 to Rs.35 trillion today.

From this perspective, the British occupation of 1882 merely sealed the country's fate as a vast plantation for European textile mills. All but obscured in such accounts, however, is Egypt's emergence as a colonial laboratory for financial investment and experimentation.

AMA: Legal Resources for DACA & Undocumented GW Student Entrepreneurs

Many of the companies in today’s US market were all founded, completely or in part, by immigrants and DACA recipients. In major cities, many undocumented entrepreneurs have launched businesses ranging from street vending to tech startups. In fact, more than 5% of DACA recipients under the age of 25 have started a small business and 8% of Dreamers over 25 years old are entrepreneurs and employing workers.
