Sustained and meaningful engagement of the community – patients, family members, caregivers, advocates, clinicians, and healthcare providers – throughout the research process is vital to the long-term success of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) research.

This seminar will bring together GW faculty, researchers and students to hear from an investigator who has successfully collaborated with community partners on several recent projects. She will discuss the nuts and bolts of implementing a patient-centered outcomes approach to conducting research, and the strengths and challenges of this method.

A light lunch will be provided. The agenda will include time for networking and sharing with your fellow researchers. We look forward to your participation!
