Join Latin American and Hemispheric Studies, the LEAP Initiative, LATAM @ GW, and the Elliott School’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Diverse Perspectives in International Affairs: Honoring Latinx/Hispanic Heritage with guest speaker Amb. Lino Gutiérrez.

Diverse Perspectives in International Affairs is a series designed to promote speakers who reflect the diversity of our Elliott community and uplift topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion at the intersection of international affairs.

This event will highlight Latinx/Hispanic Americans’ contributions to diplomacy, the importance of diversity in our workforce, and the importance of continued growth in representation of Latinx/Hispanic community members in foreign service.

While this program takes place during LHC, we recognize and celebrate our diverse community year long, beyond specific cultural heritage celebrations. For more Latinx Heritage Celebration events at GW, visit: https://mssc.gwu.edu/lhc-2021
