Knowing where to begin with adapting or changing your teaching is often a challenge. In this workshop, we will explore the ideas of “+1 thinking” (making a single change towards improving a course) and “small teaching” (ideas that take only a few minutes to implement). In addition to exploring a number of concrete strategies, we will also examine how to identify a single change that you can implement in your next class session to address a current challenge.

This workshop is part of the Evidence-Based Teaching Strategies series for GW instructors seeking strategies to increase student engagement and communicate with learners in new ways.
