The George Washington University School of Business will host the 2026 ICSB World Congress in Washington, D.C., June 29 to July 1, 2026. Themed "Entrepreneurship for the World," the 2026 Congress brings together global leaders across entrepreneurship, policy, research and education, with significant participation from GW faculty, students and alumni.

About the International Council for Small Business

Founded in 1955, the International Council for Small Business is the oldest and largest organization supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It has been hosted at GWSB since 2002, and ICSB has held its global conferences in partnership with the school.

ICSB is dedicated to advancing small business and entrepreneurship worldwide across research, practice, and education. It publishes two global academic journals: the Journal of Small Business Management (JSBM) and the Journal of the International Council for Small Business (JICSB). ICSB is led by Dr. Ayman El Tarabishy, President and CEO of ICSB and deputy chair of the Department of Management at the GW School of Business.
