In this session of the University Seminar on A.I. and the Humanities, composer Douglas Boyce and video artist Maryam Faridani share thoughts on their ongoing collaboration connecting the sonic and visual aspects of chamber music with A.I.-generated video. The talk explores how generative A.I. technologies can be integrated into existing artistic processes and how high-granularity parsing of musical forms can be used to organize prompts and so produce aesthetically cogent cinematic results.
