Since 2004, the George Washington University’s (GW) Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC) has hosted the MSSC Block Party. 

Faculty, staff, and students who celebrate diversity join us for music, fellowship, and a student organization fair in partnership with the Office of Student Life. More than 120 diverse student organizations and various vendors participate, creating a memorable event. The purpose of the Block Party is for new students to meet, mix, and mingle with returning students, student organization leaders, faculty, staff, and alumni. All MSSC events are open to GW students, families, faculty, staff, and alumni.
