The Milken Institute School of Public Health invites you to a conversation with Dr. Michael Osterholm and Mark Olshaker (‘72), co-authors of The Big One: How We Must Prepare for Future Deadly Pandemics. Former FDA Commissioner Peggy Hamburg will moderate the discussion, which will explore lessons from past pandemics and the urgent need to prepare for the next. Drawing on history, science, and their new book, Osterholm and Olshaker warn that the world must treat future pandemics with the seriousness of other global threats.
