Join us as we discuss Translational Bioethics and Public Health in our webinar series hosted by the Office of Research Excellence (ORE) this month. These webinars have always aimed to foster thoughtful discussions and generate critical insights into ways we can further promote discourse on ethical decision-making and practice in the context of public health, including the ethical challenges healthcare and public health professionals face today.

Translational Bioethics and Public Health is an interdisciplinary field that explores the ethical, social, and legal implications of applying scientific advancements in biomedicine to public health. This field delves into the complex issues that arise when new technologies, interventions, and policies are introduced into healthcare systems and their broader societal impact. It addresses questions such as equitable access to healthcare, informed consent, privacy concerns, and the potential for unintended consequences. Translational Bioethics and Public Health seeks to uphold ethical standards, promote societal values, and ensure that scientific advancements in biomedicine are ethically applied and contribute to the overall well-being of individuals and communities. REGISTRATION

Date: Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EST.
