Please join the Biomedical Laboratory Sciences (BLS) Department for our upcoming in-person Open House to learn more about GW's School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) BLS Bachelor's programs.

The biomedical laboratory sciences are a growing field in the healthcare industry. Working alongside physicians, pathologists, and other members of the healthcare team, graduates of our programs are involved in the study of disease causation and diagnosis and are a critical member of the patient care team.

The Open House will cover the three BLS Bachelor's programs offered at the Virginia Science and Technology Campus located in Ashburn, VA. These programs include the following:

• Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)
• Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS)
• Medical Genetics and Molecular Biology

The Open House will also offer the following:

• Information about our programs including:
• Admissions and application process
• Transferring to GW
• Guaranteed admission with select local community colleges
• Laboratory tours
• Light refreshments

*Those interested in the BLS certificate and master's programs are welcome to attend and ask questions about those programs.
