The GW Nursing Office of Community Engagement has partnered with Inova Blood Donor Services to host the School's annual Blood Drive. This event is open to all GW students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
Registration Required. You must bring a photo ID. Allow one hour for donation.
How to Register
Follow the instructions below to register and secure your donation appointment slot.
1. Find a blood drive.
Click the "Register" button. This will take you to a list of available appointments at Innovation Hall on March 13th.
2. Select a time.
Choose an appointment time from the available time slots.
3. Log in required.
Once you click on a time slot, you will be asked to "log in." Whether you're a first-time or previous donor, you must log in to complete the registration process.
Returning/Previous Donors
If you have forgotten your username or password, click the links under "Forgot your username or password" and follow the prompts. For those who have previously donated with Inova but never logged into the online scheduling system, please look for the link that says, "Don't have an account? Create One Now". You will need to fill out a short form that asks for basic information the blood bank requires. Note: Please include your Inova Donor ID on the form if you'd like to see previous donations/appointments or test results. Anyone who has ever given blood via Inova has a Donor ID. If you do not know yours, please call Inova at 1-866-256-6372 to access it.
First-time Donors
If this will be your first time donating with Inova, please look for the link that says, "Don't have an account? Create One Now." You will need to fill out a short form that asks for basic information the blood bank requires.
4. Submit
Your submission is complete once you have selected your time slot and logged into the system. Shortly thereafter, you will receive an email confirming your appointment.
