PDCA First Monday Forum

Since 1986, the Foreign Affairs Oral History Program of the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training (ADST) has recorded more than 2600 interviews with former participants in the U.S. foreign affairs process. Collectively, these oral histories span over 80 years. The archive includes interviews with, among others, former ambassadors, retirees from the Foreign Service, State Department, USAID, and USIA, and with Foreign Service Nationals and Foreign Service spouses. In 2022, ADST received the Society for History in the Federal Government (SHFG) Award for Special Service to the Historical Profession.

This event will be presented as a hybrid program in collaboration with George Washington University’s Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication and cosponsored by the USC Annenberg Center for Communication Leadership & Policy.
