Join us for a special centennial edition of our annual Celebration of Textiles community festival! This year, we’re highlighting the enduring textile traditions of cultures around the world, with special performances and activities led by practicing artists and diaspora communities from the Washington area. Explore the world of possibilities for making clothing and textiles, enjoy cultural dance and music performances, and visit our centennial exhibition Enduring Traditions: Celebrating the World of Textiles to explore global traditions that continue to inspire textile communities today.

This event is free; no registration required. Stop by the museum anytime between 10 a.m. and

4 p.m. to join the festivities.
