The Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade has fundamentally altered the reproductive health care landscape. Community health centers, which provide comprehensive health care services primarily to low-income, underserved communities, will play a central role in addressing the far-reaching maternal, infant, and reproductive health consequences of Dobbs. In this interactive presentation, Caitlin Murphy, Research Scientist, and Dr. Feygele Jacobs, Director, both from the Geiger Gibson Program in Community Health, will share their current and ongoing work to understand how community health centers - the backbone of the healthcare safety net - are experiencing the aftermath of Dobbs on the ground, and what this means for maternal and reproductive health care in the communities they serve.
