DESCRIPTION:The Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade has
fundamentally altered the reproductive health care landscape. Community hea
lth centers\, which provide comprehensive health care services primarily to
low-income\, underserved communities\, will play a central role in address
ing the far-reaching maternal\, infant\, and reproductive health consequenc
es of Dobbs. In this interactive presentation\, Caitlin Murphy\, Research S
cientist\, and Dr. Feygele Jacobs\, Director\, both from the Geiger Gibson
Program in Community Health\, will share their current and ongoing work to
understand how community health centers - the backbone of the healthcare sa
fety net - are experiencing the aftermath of Dobbs on the ground\, and what
this means for maternal and reproductive health care in the communities th
 ey serve.
