Cultural diplomacy is the exchange of art, ideas, and other aspects of culture among nations and their peoples in order to foster mutual understanding. Learn about the importance of cultural diplomacy and the mechanics of engagement programming in this hybrid, 5-day workshop organized by the GW Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication and the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design.

Cultural exchange specialists from American Voices, a nonprofit implementing two of the largest exchange programs with the US State Department will conduct the sessions. Sessions are on September 15, 29 (in-person), Oct 6, 13 and 27.

The workshop is free and open only to the GW community.
