Poster presentations provide an opportunity to discuss your research one-on-one or with a small group. The ability to succinctly describe your research questions, methods, results, and conclusions in a visually appealing manner is critical. In this workshop, you will learn how to create a poster as well as strategies for orally conveying your findings to either a lay or scientific audience.

This workshop will focus its topics and discussion on the advancement of undergraduates across all disciplines at GW. Undergraduates presenting at upcoming conferences, research showcases, and symposia are strongly encouraged to participate in this workshop to prepare for these rewarding experiences.

This workshop is part of the Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research's Creating Knowledge through Undergraduate Research workshop series for all GW undergraduate students and alumni interested in learning about undergraduate research opportunities on and off campus.

GW has an institutional commitment to ensuring that all of our programs and events are accessible for all individuals. If you require any accommodations to participate in this event, please contact libraryevents@gwu.edu at least 72 business hours (3 business days) prior to the event.

In-person attendance of this workshop is open to GW students, faculty, and staff whose GWorld allows them to tap into Gelman Library.
