DESCRIPTION:This event is a student-focused conversation\, focusing on the 
 difficulties of finding/making home while trying to balance multiple ident
 ities. For many students\, breaks are a time to visit family and return to
  a place of comfort. For many others\, including students who cannot retur
 n to a welcoming and accepting home environment\, it is a difficult time t
 hat can feel isolating. As such\, this program is intended to take place b
 efore Winter Break. This student-centered discussion will allow students t
 o voice their feelings and experiences with home\, ways that the campus co
 mmunity can be a place to rebuild\, and how we can make GW a more nurturin
 g and accepting environment that affirms all of the identities of our comm
 unity members\, including race\, age\, gender\, sexuality\, religion/spiri
 tuality\, and ability.
