Join us for a hands-on data visualization workshop led by Dr. Xindi (Cindy) Hu, Assistant Professor in the GWSPH Environmental and Occupational Health Department, where you'll learn how to transform raw data into compelling visual narratives!

This 2-hour session will cover fundamental design principles for effective data visualization, best practices for interactive visualizations using R Shiny, and how to leverage Shiny Assistant to accelerate the development process.

Whether you're new to data visualization or looking to enhance your skills, this workshop will provide you with practical tools and insights to create impactful, interactive visuals. No prior experience with R Shiny is required—just bring your laptop and a willingness to explore!

This event is co-hosted by the Research and Engagement for Action on Climate and Health (REACH) Center and the GW Department of Environmental and Occupational Health and will be held in a hybrid format: In person at the Milken Institute School of Public Health, 4th Floor Conference Room, or if attending via Zoom, the link will be provided upon registration.
