Event Description
During the runup to the presidential election in November‚ the George Washington University Columbian College of Arts & Sciences will host a series of three roundtable discussions focused on issues critical to the election. CCAS Dean Paul Wahlbeck will moderate panels composed of faculty whose research expertise focuses on immigration‚ the economy‚ and election analysis.
Session I: Immigration & Migration‚ will feature a global analysis of immigration and migration with a focus on historical and cultural perspectives and feature the following panelist:
- Elizabeth Chacko‚ Professor of Geography and International Affairs
- Thomas Guglielmo‚ Professor of American Studies
- Kimberly Morgan‚ Professor of Political Science
- Elizabeth Vaquera‚ Executive Director‚ Cisneros Hispanic Leadership Institute
