About this Event

"Reaching for the Stars — Big Equipment for Big Science" is the second in a series of science conversations moderated by CCAS Dean Paul Wahlbeck. In this session, panelists will discuss the incredible images of space made by large instruments such as the James Webb Space Telescope. Hear about why we are fascinated by these pictures, what scientific insights they reveal, what infrastructure is needed to develop such big science projects, and how society benefits from these efforts.
This event is open to the GW community, but registration is encouraged.
