“Bays, Bugs and Bacteria: The Ecology of Survival”  is the final installment in a series of science conversations moderated by CCAS Dean Paul Wahlbeck during the 2025-2026 academic year. The topic of this session is how the environment shapes life, and how life shapes the environment. Panelists will discuss changes in salinity in the Chesapeake Bay, life in volcanoes and the ways in which these environments shape interactions between the plants, animals and insects within them.

This event is open to the GW community, and registration is encouraged. Light refreshments will be served following the event. Visit the event website for details.
