During the runup to the presidential election in November, the George Washington University Columbian College of Arts & Sciences will host a series of three roundtable discussions focused on issues critical to the election. CCAS Dean Paul Wahlbeck will moderate panels composed of faculty whose research expertise focuses on immigration, the economy, and election analysis.

  • SESSION I: IMMIGRATION & MIGRATION
    A global analysis of immigration and migration with a focus on historical and cultural perspectives

     
  • SESSION II: THE ECONOMY
    Understanding the economy’s basic elements, as well as the impact of governmental and financial institutions on economic growth
     
  • SESSION III: ELECTION ROUNDUP
    Campaign strategy and election expectations, as well as a final look at top issues that will impact election outcome
