Join the Department of Anthropology for a symposium to showcase the research of our master's and PhD students. This is an all-day event that will include PowerPoint presentations, discussions and a poster session. All are welcome to come, support and celebrate our students as they present their research!

The theme we have chosen for this year's symposium is “That Which Binds.” With this theme, we hope to inspire reflection on community, unity and the forward trajectory of our individual and collective research. We are proud of the diverse research our department offers across the core areas of archaeology, biological, linguistic and sociocultural anthropology, and our primary aim is to honor and celebrate this diversity. “That Which Binds” prompts presenters to consider how their work is rooted in the subfields of anthropology, because, even with our diverse research interests, we are all anthropologists at our core.
