The Corcoran School of the Arts and Design is delighted to partner with the Korean Cultural Center and IA&A at Hillyer to host “Écriture with Body: Contemporary Korean Women Artists.” Professors Jung-Sil Lee and Koh Dong-Yeon have curated an exhibition that celebrates Korean women’s art—specifically art that challenges and engages with literary traditions historically dominated by men. The exhibition offers students, faculty, and visitors the opportunity to engage with the art of a multigenerational set of Korean and Korean American artists. It also serves as an opportunity to connect with colleagues on and off campus.
