The Institute for Racial, Ethnic and Socioeconomic Equity (Equity Institute) at the George Washington University invites GW faculty, research staff, and doctoral students to join us for a three-day summer writing retreat focused on advancing your scholarly work.

Our goal is to facilitate both the production of research and meaningful collaboration across disciplines in a supportive, structured environment.  Whether you're revising an article, drafting a grant proposal, or working on your dissertation, this retreat is designed to help you make progress on your writing projects and encourage connection across our GW community.

The retreat will be facilitated by Danika Myers, a member of the University Writing Program faculty at the George Washington University.

During this retreat, the Equity Institute will provide time, tools and resources to pursue funding opportunities focused on equity research. In addition to writing support, this 3-day workshop is meant to provide opportunities to collaborate and pursue funding.

This event is free to attend and proudly sponsored by the Equity Institute.

We welcome scholars across disciplines, particularly those whose work aligns with the mission and vision of the Equity Institute.

Please note: Space is limited and registration is available on a first come, first served basis.
