The George Washington University Museum and The Textile Museum invites students, faculty and staff to join us for a special tour of our centennial exhibition, Intrinsic Beauty: Celebrating the Art of Textiles. Led by a museum docent, this tour will highlight objects from our collection that incorporate beautiful detailing of flowers, leaves and vines on blouses, rugs and more. Spanning from Türkiye to the Philippines, these textiles reflect the diverse flora of biomes around the world.
