Please join several GW Law Professors and the Incoming Inaugural Holder of the Burchfield Professor of First Amendment and Free Speech Law Mary-Rose Papandrea for a virtual roundtable to address the legal and policy issues related to free speech on college campuses. Encouraging and maintaining space for free, open, and constructive speech at educational institutions has become one of the most pressing challenges of our times, most recently in the context of issues surrounding the Israel-Hamas conflict. We hope this timely discussion will help students, faculty, alumni, and staff better understand the legal landscape of informed debate. The webinar is intended to open the door to more civil, meaningful, and thoughtful conversations about complex and evolving issues.

  • Moderator, Jeffrey Rosen, GW Law Professor and President of the National Constitution Center
