The Research Enhancement Unit within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research is offering a series of workshops for grant writers. Participants will learn tips for developing winning proposals, managing cross-disciplinary project teams, and working with funders.

The sessions are virtual and open to all faculty, staff, postdocs and students. There is no fee for GW participants. A GW email address is required for registration.

Foundation Grant Funding

Foundations are quite different from federal agencies. While a good idea is important, foundations prioritize impact. Dr. Bob Lowman, our guest presenter, will cover:

• The importance of networking and personal meetings with board members or staff
• The role of the university development office in foundation grant seeking
