This roundtable examines corporate governance in the Global South, where most of the world's population lives. Scholars, policymakers, and practitioners have emphasized the governance models of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. Meanwhile, corporate governance in the Global South remains underexamined. This roundtable addresses this blind spot, reorienting the discussion to prioritize Global South governance models and needs. It will examine governance opportunities and challenges in the Global South and offer alternatives, ideas, and strategies for improving corporate governance and human flourishing worldwide.
