About this Event
Are you committing this coming summer to public service? Do you have an idea for a project you would like to implement in the U.S. or abroad?
Each spring, GW students can apply for undergraduate awards that support public service and a diverse range of projects. Join the Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research (CUFR) for a discussion on application strategies, essays, and timelines for the Shapiro Public Service Award and the Shapiro Traveling Fellowship.
The deadline for these award opportunities is February 28, 2026.
If you are unable to attend this information session or would like to learn more about these awards, schedule a meeting with CUFR fellowships advisor, Kevin Walden.
This workshop is a part of CUFR's Buff & Blue Table Talk: Discussions about National Awards series for all GW undergraduate students and alumni interested in pursuing national and international awards.
GW has an institutional commitment to ensuring that all of our programs and events are accessible for all individuals. If you require any accommodations to participate in this event, please contact libraryevents@gwu.edu at least 72 business hours (3 business days) prior to the event.
