George Wasington’s Motto was "Deeds‚ not Words." To capture the spirit of this motto‚ the GW LA/OC Alumni Network invites you to participate in a morning of service to give back to the greater community.
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank mobilizes local resouces to fight hunger in the LA Community. Volunteers in our group will be sorting‚ inspecting‚ and repackaging donated food items from local supermarket chains and farmers/growers before the food goes out for distribution into the community. The minimum age for volunteering is 18 years old.
Following the service activity‚ participants are invited to connect over an optional lunch at Arts District Brewing. Lunch is on GW but please indicate your interest in attending on the following page.
