 he Spring of 2017\, GWNY has offered opportunities for second and third la
 w students to spend a semester in New York City taking classes at New York
  City Law firms taught by practicing lawyers. The program is an immersive 
 experience in business law and includes a Field Placement opportunity for 
 each student as well as workshops and other networking opportunities with 
 New York City alumni and friends of the Law School. GWNY is an innovative 
 program created to give students educational opportunities in New York Cit
 y\, linked to students’ professional goals\, in an environment that draw
 s on GW’s alumni relationships.
