It's been a ground-breaking year at the Supreme Court and we have every reason to believe the upcoming year will be just as consequential.

Join GW Paralegal Studies professors Toni Marsh, JD, Sarah Coats, RP, and Larry Ross, JD, for the Ninth Annual Supreme Court Review and Preview. We'll discuss significant cases from the 2022-2023 term addressing topics such as affirmative action in education, same-sex marriage, independent state legislative theory, and trademarks.

We'll follow the story that the statistics tell, and preview what promises to be the most intriguing cases in the upcoming term on issues such as gun rights for people subject to domestic violence protective orders and social media for elected officials.

Panel Profiles:

  • Sarah Coats, RP, MPS: GW Paralegal ‘13, Appellate Specialist, Williams & Connolly LLP, Professorial Lecturer at George Washington University
  • Toni Marsh, JD: Director, Paralegal Studies, Associate Professor at George Washington University
  • Lawrence Ross, JD, MLIS: Professorial Lecturer at George Washington University

Hors d'oeuvres and light refreshments will be served.
