Pursuing and working in high-pressure careers can play a significant role in our mental health and performance. Dr. Natalie Léger‚ GWSPH BS ’16‚ licensed sport and counseling psychologist‚ will discuss the impact of high-performance careers on one’s mental health and approaches to taking care of one’s mental health within such roles.
Attendees of this webinar will gain insights into the high-performer identity as well as strategies for navigating high-stress and fast-paced work environments while maintaining their mental health.
About the Presenter: After completing her degree at the Milken Insitute School of Public Health‚ Dr. Léger received her Masters in Movement Science with a specialization in Sport‚ Exercise and Performance Psychology from Barry University and recently completed her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Springfield University.
As a former D1 athlete turned psychologist‚ she has a unique perspective in collaborating with high performers to maximize their performance and improve their mental health. Dr. Léger works from a social justice lens to create systems that foster both optimized performance and healthy human development. Since completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Georgetown University‚ she has founded her own private practice‚ The Collective Edge PLLC‚ providing individual therapy‚ mental performance consultations‚ and psychoeducational workshops.
