The Division for Student Affairs' Office of Military and Veteran Services (MVS) is pleased to invite the university community to join us for a celebration of Veterans Day and tribute to military veterans in the GW community.

This year, MVS is proud to honor Dr. Andy Sonn for his exceptional dedication to GW’s veteran and military-affiliated community. Additionally, the event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Eric Chastain, DSW, MSW, MPA, Retired Command Sergeant Major and first Senior Enlisted Advisor to the White House Military Office, Pat Tillman Scholar, Adjunct Professor at USC-DC, and GW College of Professional Studies student. 

Dr. Chastain will be joined by members of GW leadership, faculty, staff, and students as he shares reflections on transitioning from military to civilian life and what service continues to mean to him today.
