In collaboration with the Center for Teaching Excellence, the University Seminar on WID and AI offers a panel that provides student perspectives about AI.  

  • Karen Singer-Freeman (GW Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning Excellence) will share findings from a recent study her recent study "Generative AI Usage Among University Students Depends on Academic Level and Task" with over 1200 university students at a private US university. 
  • Hannah Jardine (Director of Faculty Development) will facilitate a panel with 6 GWU students, all of whom are writing center consultants, learning assistants, or peer writing preceptors who have been working with other students from across the university. They are ready to speak frankly about their experiences using or refusing AI.
