The process of becoming a U.S. Foreign Service Officer (FSO) can be long and confusing. During this session, attendees will learn more about

• The entire process of becoming an FSO
• Completing an application for the Foreign Service Office Test (FSOT)
• Registering and preparing for the FSOT
• What to expect from the FSO Oral Assessment
• What happens when applicants become finalists

This session will not cover what an FSO does or what it means to work at a U.S. Embassy abroad. Attendees should research those topics well in advance of this event.

While this workshop is scheduled until 1:30 p.m., attendees are not required to stay the entire time.
