The budget reconciliation bill passed (HR 1) and enacted (PL 119-21) this summer is the most sweeping health policy legislation since the Affordable Care Act.  Coupled with the expiration of ACA marketplace premium tax credits starting in January, it is expected that this will increase the number of uninsured Americans by about 14 million as well as eliminate or reduce SNAP nutrition benefits for millions of people.  This session will recap key points of the legislation affecting Medicaid, SNAP and the ACA marketplace.
