 his annual GW Law lecture honors Don’s extraordinary contributions to nu
 merous facets of the patent profession over his six-decade career\, which 
 included leading several of the IP bar associations\, contributing to the 
 creation of the Federal Circuit and then arguing 175 cases before the Cour
 t\, and teaching law students at GW Law. The Dunner Endowed Lecture will f
 eature contemporary thought-leaders addressing law and practice topics ins
 pired by Don’s legacy.\n\nGW Law would like to thank Don’s firm Finneg
 an\, Henderson\, Farabow\, Garrett & Dunner for its leadership support of 
 this endowed annual lecture as well as recognize and thank his many friend
 s and professional colleagues for their generous contributions to the endo
 wment. Together with the sponsoring bar associations that Don was an activ
 e member in and at one time led—the American Bar Association Section of 
 Intellectual Property Law\, the American Intellectual Property Law Associa
 tion\, and the Federal Circuit Bar Association—as well as co-sponsor The

 ual lecture as a tribute to Don who was a seminal thinker and prodigious d
 oer on a vast array of patent law issues that have defined the contours of
