Are you a STEM undergraduate or graduate student in the DC area looking for hands-on international research experience? The GW Alliance for a Sustainable Future and the Sustainability Research Institute is launching an exciting new program that sends a team of students to northern Sweden each year to explore the challenges and opportunities of the country’s green energy transition.

Students will:

• Enroll in a 3-credit spring course in research methods at GW (open to students across the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metro Area)
• Travel to Sweden for five weeks in the summer to support ongoing sustainability research
• Receive a $4,200 summer stipend
• Receive fully funded travel (including flights, lodging, meals, and local transportation)
