Not sure what an API is? Do you know what an API is, but aren't confident in your understanding of how to actually use one? Do you miss your bus or train sometimes?

In this workshop, we'll use the WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) public API to get hands-on practice retrieving data from an API, learn about key based authentication, and build a tool to show train arrival predictions using real-time data. 

This workshop will utilize Python, but no prior coding experience is expected or necessary to participate.
