 your bus or train sometimes?\n\nIn this workshop\, we'll use the WMATA (Wa
 shington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) public API to get hands-on p
 ractice retrieving data from an API\, learn about key based authentication
 \, and build a tool to show train arrival predictions using real-time data
 . \n\nThis workshop will utilize Python\, but no prior coding experience i
 s expected or necessary to participate.\n\nAhead of the workshop\, registe
 r for a free account on Replit.\n\nThis workshop is part of the Using Prog
 ramming and Code for Research series for anyone who wants to get started o
 r learn more about use programming languages like Python\, R\, or other ap
 plications. These tools can help you to collect\, manipulate\, clean\, ana
 lyze\, and visualize research data or automate many repetitive tasks. If y
