Join us for the Leveraging AI for Skills Extraction & Research (LAiSER) Boot Camp, a full-day workshop dedicated to building strong research, data science, and analytical capabilities. You’ll learn about LAiSER’s mission, the theoretical foundations driving our projects, and the broader societal impact of our efforts. Sessions include a deep dive into data science architecture, live coding demonstrations, and hands-on practice with the Skills Extraction Tool. Attendees will also explore the NOVA Capstone led by Sam Shi and the National Accreditation Commission (NAC) initiative presented by Rebecca Busacca, discover resources from the Open Source Program Office, and engage in group breakouts for collaborative planning. Lunch and refreshments are provided, with the day concluding in remarks by Dr. Kyle Albert.
