Prince George's County Maryland is the only county from Maine to North Carolina to enact harmful, countywide Breed Specific Legislation laws. Paws for a Cause, along with co-sponsors PB Proud and Fizz, invite you to advocate for not only the animals but also for the people of PG County. Shelter volunteers and shelter workers love dogs affected by these laws and PG County residents' tax money funds the constant removal of animals, labeled "pit bulls" from the PG County shelter. 

The event is completely FREE! If you sign your name on a letter or write a letter of your own to send to Prince George's County Legislation, you will have the opportunity to create a Fizz social media account and enter a giveaway. Three lucky winners will win $25 gift cards to an on-campus restaurant (not GW Dining facility). Again, it is free to sign your name and show your support for overturning BSL in Prince George's County.
