Please join the GW Judaic Studies Program for our Max Ticktin Lecture in Judaic Studies. Professor Maya Arad, a writer in residence at the Taube Center for Jewish Studies at Stanford University and one of the most prolific and notable Hebrew authors of her generation, will join Orian Zakai, Professor of Hebrew and Israeli literature at GW, for a conversation about the contributions of Israeli expat writers to Hebrew literature, the place of Hebrew as a literary language, and the joys and pains of writing in Hebrew in America.
