GW is in the midst of its reaccreditation process with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education that will continue until spring 2027. Accreditation is an important way to assess how well GW is meeting its mission and goals. This fall, we’re actively reviewing how well we meet accreditation.

Specifically, we’ll discuss:

• What reaccreditation is and why accreditation by Middle States is so important;
• The standards for accreditation and how students, faculty and staff are vital to demonstrating success;
• GW’s approach to self-study, including the progress of seven working groups; and
• How you can provide input and get involved.
