Martin Luther King recognized the power of service. He famously said, "Everyone can be great because everybody can serve." As part of the GW celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. King students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members are invited to participate in a day of service, leadership development and interfaith dialogue. This year we expect over 500 participants to gather for the opening program with keynote speakers and then head to service sites and leadership workshops both on and off campus.

Check out the Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service website for the Day of Service schedule at-a-glance and to register to join in continuing acts of services as exemplified by Dr. King. Registration will close on Friday, December 20, 2024.
