This session is designed for student groups that are interested in finding opportunities for community service that are relevant to your organizational mission. There are hundreds of opportunities for your group members and the Nashman Center is here to help you get connected. During the session we will help you learn to maximize GWServes, our online platform that helps you in discovering, connecting, and sharing your passion for service. In addition to finding service opportunities, you can use the platform to track and showcase your group’s service work. All students who report 100 hours of community engagement in a year, including direct service, advocacy, activism, fundraising, etc., are awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award from the White House. GWServes and Engage integrate so you can easily inform your members about specific service opportunities, promote your organization's projects and fundraisers, and report your members' service activities for them to earn the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
