The Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) invites you to attend this Brown Bag session for new training or a refresher on how to use the myResearch Complex Projects module to prepare for upcoming NIH PF5 proposal submissions. OSP facilitators will be available to share instructions on how to create the PF5 complex project in myResearch and answer related questions about the PF5 NOFO. We hope you will join us! 

The NIH Collaborative International Research Project (PF5) is specifically designed to support funded international collaborations between a domestic (U.S.-based) prime organization and foreign organizations. As described in NOT-OD-25-104, this funding opportunity is structured to support collaborative projects such as those that had previously been awarded as domestic awards with one or more consortia/subawards to foreign organizations. In order to conform to the new structure announced by NIH for international collaborations, NIH PF5 proposals will utilize the Complex Projects (CP) module in myResearch. 

This module allows for the PF5 multi-project proposal including the overall component, a research project component, and international component, to be submitted system-to-system (S2S) as a multi-project application. While the CP module is not a new feature in myResearch, many stakeholders in the GW research community may not have utilized this module in the past. Given NIH’s new award structure for international collaborations, OSP anticipates that more funding proposals will require the PF5 submission utilizing the myResearch CP module.
